Exhibitions of the month :
Chagall , Paris-New York, "until January 7, 2024" at the Atelier des Lumières.
Paris and New York, emblematic capitals of modern art, represent two crucial stages in the artist's long career. Paris was his city of choice, offering the young Russian-born painter a breeding ground for experimental research thanks to the avant-gardes of the 1910s, which he nourished with his own cultural references. New York was at first a place of exile in the difficult 1940s, but it gave new impetus to the artist's creativity. After the war, a number of major exhibitions and artistic commissions forged further links between Paris and New York, bringing Chagall back to the United States well into the 1970s. A witness to the great historical events of the 20th century, from the darkest to the most radiant, Chagall thus made his bold, imaginative art his primary instrument of commitment, peace and hope.

Unusual place of the month: Maison de Balzac, a cultural haven of peace!
The setting is a veritable jewel-case of greenery with a view of the Eiffel Tower, hidden from view and perfect for quiet sunbathing. Freshly renovated, the house-museum of the famous writer is once again open to the public. It was here in Passy that Balzac lived for seven years and wrote La Comédie Humaine. The house, now a museum, reveals Balzac's personal life: manuscripts, everyday objects, paintings, engravings and first editions.

Restaurant of the month: Riviera Fuga
Escape with your feet in the water!
On the banks of the Seine, just a few meters from the Alexandre III Bridge and opposite the Grand Palais, the Fuga Family's new home will take you on a journey between Italy and Japan. As close to the water as possible, as in Venice, in an atmosphere inspired by the Mediterranean art of living from Nice to Tuscany, Riviera Fuga invites you to an unprecedented escape in Paris.
Open from 12pm to 2am, Riviera Fuga is an ode to the good life, that of long summer lunches, contemplative afternoons, aperitifs under a golden light and festive dinners where you simply let yourself be carried away...
