Surrealism at the Centre Pompidou‍

The Centre Pompidou celebrates 100 years of Surrealism with a major exhibition retracing 40 years of artistic creation. Discover the spiral path starting with André Breton's 1924 Manifesto of Surrealism. Admire the emblematic works, themes and literary authors that inspired this movement. On view from September 4, 2024 to January 13, 2025.

Harriet Backer at the Musée d'Orsay‍

From September 24, 2024 to January 12, 2025, the Musée d'Orsay presents the first retrospective in France of Harriet Backer, the famous 19th-century Norwegian painter. Known for her rich, luminous colors, she brilliantly captured both indoor and outdoor scenes, blending realism and impressionism.

Masterpieces from the Galerie Borghèse at the Musée Jacquemart-André‍

Until January 5, 2025, the Musée Jacquemart-André is exhibiting some forty masterpieces from the Galerie Borghèse in Rome. This exceptional partnership brings to Paris major works from the Renaissance and Baroque periods, from Caravaggio to Rubens, Botticelli, Raphael, Titian, Veronese, Antonello da Messina and Bernini.

20 km run through the streets of Paris‍

Fête des Vendanges in Montmartre

From Wednesday, October 9 to Sunday, October 13, 2024, the 18th arrondissement of Paris celebrates the 91st edition of the Fête des Vendanges de Montmartre. The event showcases Clos Montmartre wines with a richly animated program. This year, the theme of the imaginary invites you to dream and discover inventive artistic forms, street shows, films, street art, unusual concerts, poetry and song.

The Lion King at the Théâtre Mogador‍

The original Broadway musical The Lion King continues to captivate Parisian audiences at Théâtre Mogador. With over 250 costumes, 200 puppets and 150 people on stage, this production tells the moving story of Simba. Since its premiere in November 2021, over 1.3 million spectators have been enchanted, making this the most popular musical in France, awarded 3 Molières.
