Restaurant in Paris
Lapérouse , 51 Quai des Grands Augustins, Paris 6
Located in an 18th-century mansion near the quays of the Seine, Lapérouse is one of the last Parisian restaurants to offer private salons-alcôves for lunch or dinner. Service is provided "à la clochette" to respect guests' privacy. The most intimate salon, for two, is named after the courtesan Caroline Otero. For over two centuries, guests and "cocottes" have gathered in the hushed atmosphere of a candlelit dinner, celebrating the French art of living.
